                                                                   Mahasundari     Devi   was
                                                                   one of the finest artist of
                                                                   the Madhubani form.  she
                                                                   hailed from a small village in
                                                                   Madhubani, bihar. in 2011 she
                                                                   received the Padma shri award.
                                                                   she founded a cooperative society which supported
                                                                   the growth and development of handicrafts and
                                                                   artists. she died in 2013.
