CharmS of ChaUKa Bara




          Chauka Bara is one of the oldest traditional
          board games of India played in the era of
          the kings. We find its reference in the ancient
           epic Mahabharata.


          ABOUT OUR GAME:

          •  This  pull-out  sheet  of  the  game
              can  be stuck on a cardboard.

          •  It is played by 2 – 4 players on a
              board.
                                                              NOT PLAYED MOKSHA
          •  Each  player  should  have  four                 PATAM    –2
              pawns  of the  same  colour. You
              can use  recycled beads or paper
              tokens.

          •  To  roll  your  chances,  you  can
              either use a dice or cowries.

          •  The  objective  is  for  all  the  four
              pawns to reach  the centre  goal
              based on the rolling of the dice or
              cowries.

          •  The  individual  pawns  step  out  of
              “HOME”  towards the  right hand
              direction. The pawns move in the
              direction as shown below:
